Made this for my BF last night for a quick Christmas gift. Went together quickly, and the hardest part was slip-stitching the inside closed. Great gift idea!

I'm going to make this for myself. I am not a man. I'm sure everything will be okay.

The "Man" Cowl? Men have been wearing cowls LONG before women! What is WRONG with you people who keep showing men's clothing as a novelty? EVERYTHING that is clothing was first worn by a man! Learn some history, people!

Monastic orders not withstanding, he is right. Women like to think that if they dominate the home sewing and craft industries, they are the inventors. I hate to tell you folks that the basic sewing machine, by Singer was a man's invention, and much of couture fashion is dominated and run by men and in the pc corrected language of today, the fashion gods forbid that men are really very innovative at fashion. Men do in fact have the innate ability to see structure in their minds and thus designs for clothing are relatively easy for men.

this will be great for my grandsons, scarves tend to get lost and undone from the neck. with this, they hopefully, will stay put. now for mittens and the idiot tether, the one that goes thru the coat sleeves. my husband always called them that as did his mom, a mom of 13 'you'd have to be an idiot to lose them' the name stuck.

Terrific idea - now I know what to do with all of those outdated mufflers that I was going to donate. Hope the men and boys in the family like them
