I made the turtle for my 2 year old grandson, and it was a big hit. He loved it! We named her Tillie.

I can not get on the makeitloveit site. Help Jenny

@jlacombe2 3119533, If you click the link that says, "Click here for sewing pattern," a new browser window should open that brings you to the pattern on the designer's website. If you're having trouble, perhaps try a different Internet browsing software; for example, I'm using Firefox and am able to access the pattern just fine. Hope this helps!

im a beginner at sewing at ive recently found this website when i was trying to come up with ideas for my 6 month old daughter i wanted to make her a teddy bear then i found these turtles and fell in love with them so i decided to make one since im not that experienced i decided to use some of my scrape fabrics that i had lying around i ended up with a bunch of christmas fabrics so i made one and i thought it was just so cute i made 3 more i showed my 3 year old neice the turtles and she instantly grabbed for the christmas one when i asked her why she picked that turtle insted of the pink and purple tinkerbell one she said because hes diffrent and i want to give him a good home i just laughed and didnt think anything of it till just a week ago the brought him over and his tail was ripped dhe was devasted i fixed him right for her and she asked me if i was one of santas elfs 3 year olds are so very cute i just smiled winked and told hr shed have to wait and see now before i found sewing i was a ameture writer and childrens books where what i thrived on so i decided to write a book about the christmas turtle and now everytime my neice comes over she has her turtle she grabs my 6 month old and i read both of them the story and everytime she says look turtle shes talking about us hahaha

I am beginning to sew again after a 40 year lag and this was so cute when finished. I will make another couple a bit smaller for my great grandaughters. thank you very much for the pattern. Bev

My little turtle head droops. So, on the next one, I will make it smaller and move it up on the pattern. It is really very cute tho' and I will make many more in different colors to give anonomously for Christmas Tree Wishes
