Adorable but still not practical at my house. My cra-cra husband would still claim he did not have all of the cover. My trick, have another blanket.

This is a nice idea and I could see it more for kids, however, these days, kids don't share beds like they did back in the day! I think the ribbon visual is clever, but if your partner is a blanket their, doesn't matter. Solution, make two separate blankets, each to your own warming needs, make them a bit more, than twin size and problem solved. Yes, it will take some smoothing when you make the bed, but solves the hogging issue!

This idea is priceless. However, the issue in our bedroom is that my dear sweet husband is a cover hog. I don't get any of it, period. Over the years, I've learned to live with it and if I went through all the trouble to make this, I promise you, he would hog it all.

OL..we have the same problem...my husband is a blanket thief. I also sew satin ribbon down the middle of our blankets so he can get a visual of what's happening..getting a lot more sleep these days!!! I also marked my kid's bedding when they were younger to help them evenly distribute blankets when they were learning to make the bed..worked like a charm.

We have our own version of this at our house...flannel sheets, covered on one half with regular sheets. He gets the flannel top sheet folded in half and the flannel side, I get the regular sheet side with regular top sheet. Not sewn together, but creative folding and placement helps this work for us!
