Disguise an unsightly metal bed frame with the Velcro DIY Bed Skirt sewing tutorial. This DIY bedroom decor project is easy to sew and it's easy to pull off the bed to wash. The amount of material you'll need is based on the size of your box spring and you'll need enough velcro to attach the skirt to the bed. It will only take about one day or even an afternoon to complete this easy sewing project. The most difficult part will be picking out your fabric and trim!

This is a pretty ingenious idea. I have made bed ruffles before however, this pattern saves so much more fabric. The customizing ideas are also seemingly endless...not to mention how much easier it is to tear apart and then re-assemble the bedding when it is time to do the laundry.

Can I just recreate that whole room, please? I adore the tassels and how it elevates something that is usually an afterthought to a central piece of the home decor.
