Easy pattern from the photos. Unfortunately some of the instructions are in another language. I am short but I wonder if a large pillowcase would be wide enough for my body. I am petite but not that petite. It is worth a try. Would be nice for a little girl's nightdress. If it does fit me it would a comfortable house dress. and probably good for sleeping. The cost of nightmare these days makes it worth making. And it will wash well. Thank you for the pattern.

I like this this night dress because it looks like it would keep you cool in the hot summer but I am wondering if a pillow case would be long enough or be able to fit a larger size women. This tutorial looks very easy so I think I will make one for my 7 year old grand daughter because it is so lightweight. I would also like to see the way to cut the arm holes and neck. Anyone make one yet?

I like the idea of an easy to sew lightweight nightie. But I just wonder how short one has to be to be able to wear this, as most pillow cases would be too short! I would also prefer to have seen instructions for finishing the armholes and the neck hole, just cutting the fabric will make it fray and leave lots of little threads hanging. Would it be possible to get some measurements so as to cut this from regular fabrics?

I can't wait to give this a try not only because it's a cute sleeper idea, but also for a costume idea for my daughter. I introduced her to an old tv series/movie called 'Logan's Run' she's been wanting a 'Runner' dress that her favorite character Jessica 6 wore (looks like the nightdress pictured). More fun diy slotted for our new sewing room in the new house.

I am about 5'5" and a regular pillowcase will not be long enough for me but I was thinking about seeing if i could find a wide piece of lace or wear leggings underneath just little suggestions.

Oh, this is cute, but not if you are a Plus size... I need sheets...

I had the same exact thought when I saw this! And on top of being plus-sized I am also large chested!

Is this made from a King size pillowcase? I am only 5'2 and a regular case wouldn't be long enough for me. This really is cute.
