Where was this pattern a couple years ago when my grand daughter wanted a mermaid tail I looked all over and we ended up buying one and paying a lot for it. like $35 and it is tight to walk in. For anyone who has someone that wants one this is such a easy tutorial to make and quick too. I like that you can choose your own fabric too because that makes it so much more special. Add a little top with it that I am sure you can find on and you have a great little gift.

Kids are going to love this tail! I can't wait to make it for the children in my life.

I tripped across this pattern while looking for cute things to make for my kindergarten dress up box. I know that my students would just love this! I can't wait to pick up some super glittery fabric an make up a few of these. I'm also wondering how it would look if you made this tail out of grey fabric to make a sort of "shark tail" or "dolphin tail" for kids that are into marine animals. A wonderfully fun pattern!
