Love these! I like that the design is elegant, yet low key.

Now these are fantastic. I really like the idea that they are no sew! I've seen similar window coverings in magazines and at home decor stores, but couldn't afford them. This is a great and affordable alternative! I think that I will try it in a lightweight muslin to let the light shine in a bit in my kitchen. Awesome DIY project.

I love the idea of no-sew drape window coverings that are easy to make and quickly. Any light weight fabric like muslin or sheerest open weave handkerchief linen would be perfect. This project would be charming too if the fabric were to be hand-stenciled with a simple design. Great DIY project.

Love this idea going to try them.

This is very nice, I will be making them for my dining room window. Thank you for sharing and for the very clear instructions.

I just completed something very similar using two remnants and less than 2 yards of ribbon. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v156/CAP121/Crafts/UtilityRoomWindowTreatment2.jpg

Hi! I created the tutorial. I have used the no-sew seam tape for upholstery weight fabric and had great luck. In my experience, as long as you get the "heavy duty" or permanent weight tape, it will hold. Good luck! If you do the project, please head over to my blog and send us an email. We'd love to feature it there! Shanna {swoon style & home}
