Refashion an Old Scarf
This image courtesy of esheepdesigns.blogspot.ca

From the Blogger: "If you live anywhere where it gets cold in the winter, you probably have a collection of fringed scarves. Quite possibly, you don't get as much use out of them as you'd like. Over the years, the item becomes 'same old, same old' and falls out of favour... well, how about giving it a new look with one of these quick upcycles? Let me show you how to turn your old fleece/flannel scarf into a hoodie or a neck cowl. If you can sew a few straight lines, you can do this in minutes!"

You can always find these scarves at a good price. This is a great way to convert them into another use. And it looks different. I am always looking for something different to wear in these cold months, yet I want to look somewhat fashionable. This will do the trick. Thank you.

What a GREAT idea to refashion some old scarves that otherwise would just sit in your closet or drawers. I know you may still love the colors but you want something different. Why not just change the look to a hoodie or neck cowl. These are so fashionable and very easy to make with just a few stitches. This is great for a child or an adult and people will wonder where you got them because they are so adorable and you are upcycling so the cost is Nothing. Great tutorial. Has anyone made one yet? Love it.

What a great idea! I would love to try this with some of my scarves. Great for recycling something that may not be as interesting to wear anymore.

How to refashion old scarves is a great idea. I too have quite the collection of scarves, such a necessity where I live. I had never thought of doing something so simple yet beautiful. I might try this on some knit scarves too, I wonder if anyone has tried that?
