This is an awesome idea. I am new to sewing and I need some easy projects. The light bulb is already going off as for what my skirt could look like. Thanks for sharing this. I think this skirt is great. I would shorten it & change the fabric, but isn't that what crafting is all about? If you think this is hideous you have no imagination. If you feel the need to post a comment on how much you dislike it you have no manners.

this is absolutely hideous!

I have an idea, just throwing out to the haters. What if you used another pair of denim jeans (like the leg) that are the same or similar colors to fill the inverted "V" area?

Sorry, but I think this is quite awful looking. I would never wear this. Perhaps, only perhaps, if the material used to fill the V section were different I might think about it.

Well since you are the one making it, use any material you like. Duh!
