This is a charming ornament with kid-appeal. Kids love to identify ornaments on a tree that have some charm. Cutting out the one background piece with pinking or scallop scissors may be a challenge. The instructions that follow this project are easy to follow. Perhaps other mythical or forest creatures could be used as subjects as well. Great felt scrap project.

This is a different project! What fun! If you have little ones, and they are old enough to sew with some yarn, this light be a fun project for your youngster with your guidance. Besides being an ornament, this could be a little toy or used as a gift wrap embellishment! Or a nice party favor as well with a unicorn theme that little kids love. Fun and enjoyable project to create and share!

I have a few friends who would LOVE this ornament! So whimsical. My nieces would definitely love it too!

TOO CUTE! I think unicorns should always be associated with Christmas. They are both magical!
