Oh dear. Maybe this wasn't a good choice for my first time sewing clothing for myself. The measurement system seemed odd, but I used it anyways because I always follow instructions. I wound up with a slightly loose bust, and a very, very tight stomach area that popped some stitches. Maybe it's because I'm shaped like a pear with very narrow shoulders. To sum it up take into account your body shape, don't just wing it like I did!

I like making my own clothes so I can make them the way I like and this is such a cute and comfy shirt and not to bad to make. I can also never find a shirt long enough anymore. I love that you can add a saying, picture or embellishments to make this your own. I would finish my hem so they will not unravel and maybe sleeves and neck too.

Oh, super cute and easy. I love that I can easily lengthen this top. (I have trouble getting tops that are long enough.). Did you do anything to finish the edges? I am concerned that the cute edge of the fabric won't look good if I don't edge it somehow.

How do I adjust for a bell bottom girl? she has 36 inch breast and 72 inch hips

Great idea; now we have a basic shirt to embellish. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love it.. It is soooo easy to make and fashiuonable too!!!
