So often the best solutions are the simplest ones! I can't believe that I have never thought to put something non slip under the pedal. After years of chasing the damn pedal around under my work table it is finally secured where I want it to be - YESSS! Thank you for this excellent solution.

I just made a denim version tonight. Even on carpet, foot pedals slip and slide.

I have made 2 and about to make another!!!!! I use the large, heavy-duty (weave) shelf liner. They work like a charm.

I made this and it is awesome.

Wow this is a great idea to keep your foot petal from slipping as you are sewing. I have another sewing machine behind mine right now so that helps but this is a much prettier way to do it. I love the idea to use a row of your jelly roll(quilting fabric) if you have some leftover. I have wood floors and sometimes it slips just when I am sewing at a great pace and getting ready to finish and I have to stop and slide it back. I am going to put this on my list to make. Anyone else.

Love this idea. Having trouble downloading the pattern, but will try again later. Thank you for a great idea.

Couldn't believe my luck when I saw this. Could never keep my pedal in place and this does the job perfectly. Will be making one for my daughter.

Non slip foot petal pad comes in handy for personal use when sewing for me. I shall be making at least two for myself and some for my friend who I am helping to learn to sew on one of my machaines.

Just when I think my sewing machine foot pedal is in place, it has scooted out of reach. This non-slip foot pedal pad is perfect to keep the pedal in one place, especially on a tiled floor. The tutorial is easy to follow. This would make a great gift idea for any sewer.
