This scrap buster does not look like a scrap buster at all. Create this Posh Paneled DIY Makeup Bag before embarking on your next vacation. Sturdy and adorable, it is an excellent way to store all of your toiletries. If you are worried about transporting all of your shower stuff, you could even create a separate bag and store a plastic bag full of potential spill disasters tucked inside. These make great gifts, too. No matter where your next travel destination may be, you are sure to need a DIY makeup bag to store all of your beauty essentials.

Love the look of this little bag and it is just the right size for my daughter to put her touch-up makeup in when going to dance competitions, it is a great way to use up stash or for fat quarters. The tutorial is really easy to follow and it took me about 3 hours to make but this did include my daughter changing her mind a few times about what fabrics she wanted. I'm not sure what size zipper I used as it came from my stash and we just picked the one that matched the size of the fabric.

I made the make up bag. Took about 2 hours. It was cute, I did opt to butt the corners. I like how it stands. I followed the patterns but ended up needing a 9" zipper not a 12", it was too long. Only change I made.
