For those of use without embroidery skills this is still a nice project. I like to have little bags like this to store things in. In a pinch I have been known to use a bag like this for a purse. Thanks for the project ideas.

Who says these have to be used just for make-up bags. I can see using these for any purpose. These need to be seen so I can see using this as a simple clutch. Thanks for the pattern.

I love the look of Vera Bradley type print fabrics in small bags like this cosmetic zip pouch. The tutorial for this bag is easy to follow. Monogramed or not, this little bag would make a great gift, especially if filled with some small sample lotions or scents. Sewing in the zipper is easily explained too.

What a great idea Cheryl E to put small sample lotions in the makeup bag. This would make a great gift for mom for Mother's Day and something she will always use. They are so addicting to make and I have made some in different sizes for other things. I have never used the cork before though. Have You? Do you know where to get it? I love it. Have you made any cosmetic bags yet?
