This The Kennedy Bag will stand out on the street. Created from flashy and fab patterns, this bag will quickly become your go-to bag for the workday. Just big enough to carry books, important papers, and even your laptop, this DIY messenger bag would be the perfect pouch to create for the office or a new school year. If you are planning on traveling, it would make a great carry-on bag, as well.

When you have to lug a bunch of stuff with you, you might as well do it in style. That's when this free bag sewing pattern comes in handy! It works for anyone going anywhere. Plus, choosing your favorite colors and fabrics makes this bag even more fun. Keep it summery and fun like the version shown or choose solid or more subdued patterned fabric so that it works no matter what you're wearing or where you're going.

This is a nice looking purse. I really like it. I have always made simple bags and purses with no closures or zippers. Pockets but not zippers because these things scared me. I am so ready to try to make this purse. The instructions seemed easy enough and the Helpful hints are great.I can even see where you can add or take away some of these things. I will use this a lot. I am even super excited about trying the feet. A great idea.Has anyone who made this new at making this purse? Thank You

Have adapted this to make a training bag for my Labrador, with a removable elastic mesh and an extra front pocket. Its a great pattern and easy to follow instructions, thank you for sharing your hard work

I have made this cute messenger for my nece. She loves the bag. This pattern is so versatile. I put her name on the flap and added a pocket to the back yo put extra stuff in. I recommend this pattern to everyone.
