I like the finish of french seams but I have never used them on clothing. I have used them on drapes to make them 3 different color stripes that turned out so super great. I get so many complaints on them. I sewed the stripes down the fabric and then went back and did my french seam and they have that nice raised seam down the stripes. Gives it a real pretty finish. It looks hard but believe me it is real easy. This is a good tutorial and the pictures of the steps makes it a lot easier. Do yourself a favor and read this.
