I use to do smocking when my daughter was a baby 32 years ago. I bought the smocking machine and everything. I just loved the look. This shirring reminds me of that look and it looks so pretty and makes some beautiful pieces. The sundresses with the shirring on them are so cute. This shirring is so much easier than smocking and with this lovely tutorial and pictures it can be done. Pictures always help a lot. Once you get started I can see this getting addicting. So why not give it a shot and start shirring. Anyone want to do this. How about you?
