I found the "Ice Skater Skirt Tutorial" very pretty looking. I especially like the fabric the maker chose for her project. I would have preferred to have all the instructions in one tutorial instead of having to go read another post. The other comment I have is that I am uncertain as to whether this pattern is only made for smaller sizes, as I doubt that I would be able to make this out of just one or even one and a half yards.

I like the velvet too such a pretty color. I also like all the instructions in one post but most of the projects do this. I usually try and combine things I have read from post and revise my own way of making things anyway. I have found that most patterns use more or less fabric then stated.
