Grecian Sundress

By: Liz from Cotton and Curls

You won't want to take off this beautiful Grecian Sundress this summer, let along any other season. Gathered at the neck, this flowy sundress sewing pattern is super easy to make. Made with a light knit this lovely DIY dress is comfortable and doesn't even need to be hemmed. Striking features like the gathered bodice and skirt of this eye-catching dress softly resemble pleats. Use this attractive element to advantageously show off your stunning figure when you sport this dress.

Pretty Grecian style summer dress. No pattern per se to follow, but the pictures and simple instructions should be enough to recreate this attractive dress. Lots of gathering at the neckline and sleeves and a belt to tie it all in at the waist is what gives the dress its many graceful folds. I do like it.

I love this super cute Grecian sundress . I am going to try this for sure but may need to go over tutorial a few more times because can not really figure out the sleeve but I am sure it will come to me when I get to that part. I love that you used a soft knit. If I do not finish the hem you said knit does not fray too much. Does it fray at all? And where do you buy your knit? Every where I look at knit you can see right through it and have to wear something underneath it and than it makes dress hot. Thanks for the tutorial.

It's a lovely dress, but I wouldn't call it "Grecian"-Grecian style is all about draping, and this is gathered at the top, with no drapery whatsoever.

I want to make this!

its gorgeuos will definately try

That is so beautiful im definately gonna make one just like it

so cute! i will make it longer, though. :) i can't wait to try!!!!
