Do you like to decorate your house for the holidays to add a festive look then grab some fabric stash and make some pumpkins and tomatoes to lay around your fall scene, mantel or even glue on a fall wreath. So fast and easy to do and will look great on the table for Thanksgiving. Make some extras for family and friends.

I could see making the different sizes for the tomato and the pumpkin for these! You could even go really crazy with these and make them really giant sized, either red for the tomatoe or orange for the pumpkin, and use them for fun pillows kids could sit on for the fall! Wouldn't these be fin for a kids' sleepover? No matter what size you create these, they are a fun project!

Very cute xx

Love the pumpkins. I have made cloth pumpkins for years for my adult children and my grandchildren. They have been giant size, to tiny ones. All of them seem to get a kick out of them. I usually have to make more each year. This year it is the mini ones. Keep sending us great ideas. Peggy

If I were to make either of these, I'd make them of wool and wool roving to make pincushions. I'm not "into" table decorations. They are cute and would make cute gifts for my sewing friends. Esp. if one was to add an Emery Strawberry! I do so much enjoy your daily posts. We have a friend who has a 3 year old granddaughter and I've found several patterns that I'm making for her. Thank you for your efforts. Judyth in Kansas
