From the Blogger: "Are you looking for a simple way to spruce up your mantle for any holiday occasion? Maybe a birthday party? Or, maybe looking for some additional whimsy decor for your child's bedroom or your craft room? Sewing some triangle garland (or commonly called triangle bunting) is a simple one hour project. This project is fun for me and perfect for using up scraps from your scrap bin. Follow along to see an illustrated guide to sewing your first triangle garland."

It is amazing how a simple triangle garland can brighten a room or backyard picnic with a celebratory feel. Triangle garlands, as this tutorial illustrates, are easy scrap fabric projects. I have made several without a wished-for triangle ruler using instead a template made from sturdy card stock. Great project.

I made one of these years ago using metallic fabric and scraps for the connecting line to add to a store bought one we used in the yard for a party to decorate a tree and fence in the yard! It was easy to do and pretty fast too, and made a big impression! Lots of fun, and my kids got involved too!
