Quilted Fabric Plate

"Do you find it odd that there are so many variants of fabric bowls to make but not that many patterns for fabric plates? Apart from paper pieced versions, I had no luck in finding a tutorial for a fabric plate when I recently came into the need for one (to display my fabric fortune cookies of course).

So I created this one and am happy to share the results. The construction of this is very similar to that of microwave cozies. Some lazy quilting ensures a unique finish. It's a creative way to use up scraps too!"
