Stitched Cushion Cover Tutorial

From the Blogger: "Get to know your sewing machine a little better by trying out all those decorative stitches you never normally use. Add ribbon, yarn, and other haberdashery too to give a textured look and feel. Then, turn your resulting beautifully embellished fabric into a pretty cushion cover. It's easy to match to any colour scheme simply by choosing threads to match. Since making this cushion cover, my sewing machine and I are best friends, and I'm much more confident to use the fancy stitches on other projects."

This is good way to try out your sewing machine stitches for sure. I have had my machine for at least 4 years and still have not used hardly any and mine is a benina artista. I like how you can just decorate as you please with the threads to use up small bit left and laces, ribbons or anything you have in your stash. This stitched cushion is a great way to learn how to sew too. Great idea.
