Love this! I had made one of those tissue holders with a dead center opening before I discovered that the packs I bought open on the horizontal edge. This is a packaging change by the company, as previously that same product did have packages with a dead center opening. I dealt with the out-of-place opening by removing the plastic and putting my tissues in the fabric holder bare... but I need a second tissue holder anyhow, since I change bags a couple times a week, and would prefer not to move my tissues from bag to bag. The fewer items I need to transfer, the less likely I am to forget something.

I was so frustrated with the other tissue packet patterns I found on-line because they all had dead-center openings and the tissue packs I buy open on an edge. So I created this tutorial featuring an off-center opening. And to make it super-quick I also used a self-binding lining. BUT wait there's more! (I sound very paid program-y now, don't I?) I also had a tissue pack on hand that opened on the short end, so the tutorial includes directions for both horizontal AND vertical openings.
