Springtime DIY Upholstery Chair

Looking for a DIY home decor piece to absolutely pop in your kitchen or living room? This gorgeous Springtime DIY Upholstery Chair is absolutely adorable. Upcycled from an old wooden chair, this piece will be cheap to make all by yourself. A set of these would look great around a kitchen table. It would also be a great way to add some panache to your desk or crafting space. The brightly colored chair and floral seat really make for a funky, modern piece with a vintage twist.

Even without a coat of paint, this is one fabric project that can have big impact as it can change a drab chair or a set of dining room chairs into delightful vintage ambiance, evoke spring or summer times, or really herald in any season desired in very little time at all. I found the project very easy to do.

A great way to spice up your dining room with very little money instead of buying new dining room table why not just recover those dull chairs or pick up some new ones from the thrift store, yard sales, estate sales or friend or family getting rid of. Maybe you have some fabric you have always wanted to use in stash or buy some. Put a new coat of paint on then recover chairs. It is really not that hard. Use old cushion fabric for pattern. Now look at your brand new dining room.

I am buying my first home, so I am always on the lookout for budget-conscious ways to ad some personal flare to my decor. This tutorial is great! I plan on picking up some old mismatched chairs for cheap at the second hand store and painting them in some funky chalk paint. Once I ad this fabulous upholstery in a fun pop of colour, my kitchen will be looking fantastic and I won't be breaking the bank. A great and practical DIY.
