Elizabeth Taylor's Favorite Lace Skirt is undoubtedly a project you'll want to try. If not for the ease of this simple skirt pattern, make a skirt like this for its classic style. Create this vintage look from merely a thrifted tee shirt, an elastic band, and your sewing skills. For those who want evergreen fashion without the cost, this beautiful bottom is just what you're after. You determine the fit of this golden-age skirt based off of the size tee you refashion, making you the star of this sewing project.

This is absolutely gorgeous and stylish. Lace is never going out of fashion for bridal wear especially this type. If I could find this lacy shirt, I could make this immediately. It's so easy and looks incredibly amazing fitted with that jacket. Upcyling is the best way to test your sewing skills and getting a tonne of trendy clothes.

This is such a cool idea! I'm going to fold my elastic under and tack it down on the sides so it's an invisible wasit band.

This is such a fashionable and stylish DIY skirt! I love the pairing with a leather jacket!

This is so classy - I love it. I could see myself wearing something like this well into September... I just wish I wasn't so clumsy, because with my luck I'll end up getting it dirty!

Love the idea of this upcycle project. The picture of the finished T-shirt transformation shows a skirt slightly longer that what a cut off lacy, ready-made T-shirt would produce, even with the addition of a stretchy band to the top of the skirt to add length. I bet the finished skirt would be perfect for teens!

This is one skirt you should definitely make for spring! The lace is so elegant and pretty. Get ready for the compliments to roll your way!

The lace skirt is my absolute fave with the bow, fab x

Great skirt if only I could wear it!

My granddaughter would love this skirt.
