This is a great way to make use of orphaned socks. Dogs love to have a toy to shake and pull on. I would leave off the button eyes however. I might leave off the four paws of the sock toy since they will no doubt be torn to shreds in no time.

What a practical and cute idea to use socks without a mate! And using the solid areas for the face and ears is perfect to help create the overall look. You could further embellish the face with some yarn whiskers, or add some yarn to define the paws a bit more, but either way,Mir is such a cute project!
