Gather the kids and fabric scraps and trim and let's make some of these scrappy Christmas bulb ornaments. This is a great way to teach anyone to sew and create a one of a kind ornament for a friend or your tree. Imagine the fun you all will have and they are so easy. Just follow the tutorial or use your own imagination. So cute.

These will be so much fun. I can't wait to get them cut out and then work on the couch adding the adornment. I need to collect some ric rac, ribbon, and bling. How much fun!!!

What a fun project! Since I love bling, I would add some sequins, or glittered areas to the body. For the top, some metallic fabric or tin foil could add another dimension. . These would even lend themselves as pins for a coat by adding a little pin on the back. I have some decorative stitches on my sewing machine that could be used as garland or over stitching on ric rac trim or even embellishing fabric scraps used as garland!

I love scrappy projects like this one. The ornaments are charming in that they are dimensional. Just a little poly fil and some bits of fabric and trims. Adding a softness to these ornaments, that can double as package decorations or even hung on a ribbon as garland, is delightful. So easy to machine or hand sew as well.
