This refashioned baby hat pattern shows how to turn a fabric placemat into a sunhat for a baby or toddler. Why a placemat? Because so many of them are beautifully embroidered! This free hat pattern is a great way to finally do something with those gorgeous placemats you never use because they're too pretty to risk spilling food on. You'll end up with a hat that will make others think you spent hours embroidering, when in reality all you had to do was "steal" the pattern from an old placemat!
