Although I haven't tried this pattern, I appreciate the work you've put into it. I know two young girls who definitely fit into this category and they have both asked that I sew them something. I really didn't know where to begin for someone so young who is overweight. For the other person who was so critical of your description of pattern sizes, if memory serves me correctly, the words super size are actually printed on older patterns, before the age of political correctness. In fact, I own a pattern for toddlers that have the words not intended for chubbies printed right on the outside on the envelop.

While this pattern may be helpful I have to wonder if anyone will move beyond your unnecessarily harsh descriptions of plus size girls. Using the term "plus size" should have been enough, there was no need to add such demeaning words as "supersize". Will you take aim at girls who are taller, shorter or thinner than their peers? I hope not. The concept of an "average" overweight girls measurements is ridiculous. If you've used any commercial patterns you should be aware that most of us must make adjustments because we don't fit the "ideal" used for them. In a day when girls as young as five are worried about weight issues we do not need perjorative labels
