I started when I was 11. Now, at 74, I have been sewing for 63 years!

8! Making doll clothes. My mother taught me and let me use her machine!

I remember sewing with my grandmother, who made slipcovers for chain department stores when I was in middle school, about 12 years old. She helped me make my shorts for the volleyball team. Before that I never had an interest in sewing.
