This article is very informative and anyone on the hunt for a new machine should definitely do their research well. I got mine from my mom, it's an older model singer and works just fine but I've been dying fora computerized model and with all he brands out there, it's easy to get confused. I think I will love joining a chat group, it's the fastest and reliable ways to get reviews on products.

Good suggestions, but the best one is about joining a chat group. There's a group for everything on Facebook! If you join a sewing group, you will get lots of recommendations for machines in your price range and the features you need or think you need. I thought I needed a serger, and while I would love to own such a luxurious tool, I don't really need one. ( Darn! I was hoping for an excuse to buy myself a present! lol
