You can go to the local newspaper print shop and ask, and most of them will give you the end rolls, which are almost 3 feet tall and up to 500 yards long.

The instructions are easy to follow. You can use a calculator to help you along the way. I have a dress form which is very helpful when I make something and it will come in use here are well. I have not done this in awhile but it is good to start again. Those store bought patterns are just too expensive. I have bought freezer paper to make small patterns before and you can buy that in a large size for bigger patterns. Thank you for the free instructions.

O my goodness! I've always wondered if I could ever make my own pattern, and this tutorial makes me believe I can. I have material laid out already and I can't wait to have a free afternoon to give this a try. The tutorial makes it seem so simple! Thank you

The best way to make a perfect dress that you know fits you is to make it from your own measurements. I started making some of my grand daughters skirts like that and they come out perfect. Have not tried dress yet but I will be doing one here soon because she needs a 1920's one for a play at school. It is not a hard as it looks once you understand the formula. Once you learn you can design your own style. So why not give it a try. Is there any videos on this to make it even easier to understand?
