This would be a great holiday t-shirt to send to the grandkids. Easy to fuse multi-colored fabric feathers and turkey body. I think I would add a little poly stuffing to the turkey body to puff him out a bit for some dimension. All in all an easy to do Thanksgiving project.

This is an adorable little shirt appliqu idea! And also a great way to use up some fabric remnants from your stash! I could also see embellishing this design with some ricrac or crossgrain ribbon trim to further outline the feather area. If the child is old enough you could use buttons for eye or further embellishment, if sewn on well, or even add some clear drying craft glue on the buttons as well as sewing them on. This would make a cute oattern in a onesie for a November born baby gift! Clever and cute!
