Nice that this wine bottle cover has a round padded bottom to fit the wine bottles round bottom. Pattern is free and can be downloaded. Most wine bottle covers have a boxy bottom which is ok however I like the rounded bottom of this pattern. I will have to find a bright print to make the cover.

I would love to make this for the wine gifts but there is a lot of downloading to try and get the pattern even if it is free. This is a great idea though for those who want to take the time. For those who want to this is a great way to add a special touch to wrapping the wine insted of the store bought and you can find fabric in a theme that they like.

The pattern is just the top part and the circle. There are also a lot of complicated steps and an inner seam. It can be done easily with one seam and no inner seams. As written, it seams more complicated than it is.

What a cute idea. It's a nice way to add a more personal element to the gift of wine (which everyone loves). I'll have to make this for my holiday gifting!

This is a really cute and easy pattern. It would make a nice gift and it can be personalized by choosing a fabric that matches the recipient's personality. I would recommend this pattern to a beginner sewer or someone who likes to sew up quick project and or gifts. I will definitely like to make a few of these for gifts.

This makes a great gift! I have one that was made with a handle and is completely covered in different fabric yo-yos with coordinating colors of reds, pinks and corals and metallics, but the basic bag fabric is black. This really makes the colors pop! I actually keep it out all the time and put plastic bags in it as it was a gift! That way I put it to daily use! Love this project, thanks for sharing!
