Making your own pajama pants can be a great cost saver particularly if you already have a pattern or favorite pair of pajama pants to draw a pattern from. Although the elastic thread shirring on the back band is a nice touch, not sure why an additional 1.5 wide elastic would be needed. The shirring makes the back band quite stretchy.
