Basic pattern with good added details. You do need a bit experience sewing clothes first though so that you know to add the little details. I like the fact you use a sweater as a basic pattern and go from there. Also it helps if you make a nice facing for the neck so it lays right. I will make it with a knit fabric to have that extra "give". Thank you.

I like this simple easy, breezy dress design. It does take only about 2 hours to make. The pattern is self-drawn. I find the hints in the tutorial are especially helpful such as curving the underarm seam, making the sleeves a little shorter and increasing the overall length of the dress. Great ideas given by the author.

Tunic dress tutorial is simple to follow instructions for this tunic dress. I like this to make and use as a pinfore tunic for a layered look. I'm not into sewing garments, but this is an exception.
