This dress looks sooooo comfy and very sophisticated at the same time! There's plenty of different looks you can give it too depending on your accessories. I can see wearing this one around the house for a day dress in the right print fabric and I agree with jadoredior it would make a pretty beach cover up. Thank you so much for the step by step instructions and loads of pictures!

This dress is perfect, easy to make and classy looking. You can make it out of a nice knit and it will never go out of style. You can alter the length of the dress as well as the sleeves. Using a tee shirt as a guide means the dress should not be clingy which I don't like. But if you like it clingy, you can do that too. Thank you.

Hello there Mary. If you take a look at the pattern you measure your own height to get the length of the dress. So all you need to do is to make that measurement shorter. If you're not sure what length would be flattering why not measure one of your favourite dresses to get the best length? Don't forget to add extra on the bottom for the hem. Unless your fabric is very fine and decent hem will help your dress to hang better.

Love the the grey two-hour maxi dress,I am low sized can I adapt it to normal length?Thank you,Mary Coakley

I feel like you could make this out of a really sheer fabric and it would be a really pretty beach cover up.

I am not usually a huge fan of long dresses with long sleeves, but I'm into this one.
