Denim Placemats

Refashion jeans that you no longer wear into these Denim Placemats for your table. It's easy to make these placemats by sewing the denim into crazy quilt squares. It's a great sewing project if you are wondering what to do with old jeans. These placemats will fit perfectly in a rustic or country chic kitchen or dining room. No one will even know you upcycled a pair of olds jeans to make this sewing pattern! You won't have to spend any money for some cute new placemats for your next dinner party.

Maybe use one of the pockets as a flatware/napkin holder?

I got to make some of these denim placemats. They are so cute and would look great on anyones table. I love the quilt look and love that it uses old jeans so it is a upcycling project. The seam binding gives it that finished look. This is a very easy tutorial and a must see. How many have made these already?
