By: This Mama Makes Stuff

Let your little one spread their wings and fly into the spring season with these DIY Butterfly Wings. Using exciting sewing and dyeing techniques, these lovely little wings are sure to delight any kiddo. They will just adore running around in freshly sprung green grass and flowers, pretending to be the cutest butterfly on the block. Consider adding this craft to your child's box of pretend play costumes. This would make an excellent Halloween costume or Easter craft, as well.

How pretty are these butterfly wings? What little one wouldn't love flying around in these for dress up or Halloween! I once had a dance costume that was similar, and we used glitter glue to outline the wings and create sparkling veins.... Was verynoretty. You could further out,ine veins with some glow in the dark florescent fabric paints. Love this pattern, thank you for sharing!
