What an absolutely creative idea! I have never seen a chess board creates in a soft quilted version before! So,nice for travel, and could easily be tucked into a bag with way less weight than a conventional set! This would be a great stocking stuffer gift, or even a graduation gift for the college bound student! This project is a good way to hone those quilting skills in a smaller scale, which is easier to learn than going big at first. A super creative and winner project! Just love it...thanks for sharing!
