Some patterns for pants you struggle with to get the pieces right if you are like me. I always end up sewing a front and a back piece on the same side and have to rip them out. Now I come across this pattern that is so simple and you cannot sew it the wrong way and look how easy it is. You will not have any trouble with this patten. Just make sure that the size fits before making them or add some extra inches to the sides. There is also a video posted on this too. It is nice to make your own pants in colors you like.

this pattern definatley runs very small, ive made these a few times and the 4/5 fits my son whos only 28 lbs and very tall /skinny and its actually pretty small around the waist. it definately wouldnt come close to being big enough for my daughter whos 3. and wont fit my 20 mo son around the waist! waht ive done before is add a couple inches into the middle of the pattern and then it fits . its a good start to a pattern but the sizing is way too small as-is.

I made this pattern yesterday but used some cotton material that I had left over. I used the pattern for the 3T-4T size. The finished pants were much smaller than I realized. Could it be that these are US sizes and they are not the same as Canada. The finished pant size looked as it if was for a one year old instead of a 3 - 4 year old. Otherwise the pattern was easy to put together and was very easy to make.
