Decorate your tree with this unique Highland Hot Air Ornament. It's a DIY Christmas decoration that's great for ornament exchanges! This Christmas ornament tutorial will show you how to make your own little hot air balloon. There's no special structure to this seemingly magical hot air balloon either. Simply take advantage of the typical ball ornament shape and build below it. You'll find as you make this ornament that this is a great use for extra fabric scraps.

Oh my gosh I love this super cute Hot Air Ballon Ornament and it would look great on the Christmas tree. I seen this tutorial after Christmas butI will make some for next year. This is a super way to use up those scrap pieces of fabric that you have collected throughout the year. I want a handmade orrnament treenext year and I will use these on them. I can see these hot air ballons used on a crib mobile too or even as decor and you can make them any size you want too. Great idea. Thanks.
