If you're looking for easy quilt patterns, look no further than this Puffy Purple Quilt Pattern. This lush, plush project makes a wonderful DIY baby shower gift. You'll use several types of fuzzy, fluffy fabric and stuff them with cotton, so baby will be so comfortable and warm when you lay her down for a nap. Some quilting designs can be confusing, but the tutorial for this one is easy to follow. Your luxurious quilt doesn't have to be purple. Try blue or pink, or coordinate colors to match your nursery!

I am sure that every baby who has the opportunity to lie on one of these Puffy Quilts must have the most huge amount of fun. It looks like the most comfy place in the world! Our new little nephew is possibly a little big for this now but the next baby that is born into our family or to friends is definitely going to get one of these!

Wow, what a unique quilt! This one seems like it would be much more comfortable than regular playmats, since it's so much thicker.

I just love the colours of this quilt, it looks luxurious. I also like all the textures and patterns, and I would think that all these various surfaces make it an even more tactile and interesting sensory quilt for little ones. I was glad to read that the maker used or uses this as an activity or play mat rather than a covering, much safer, because I am concerned that using such a heavy and puffy quilt with a little baby could be a suffocation hazard.
