From the Blogger: "Are you looking to learn some of the basics of quilting? I needed to get back to some of the elementary skills of sewing because I was having some trouble with my points lining up well on my projects. I decided to take a step back and re-learn one of the most basic blocks when it comes to quilting. The half square triangle is a simple and fast block to learn. It is also a block that gives you lots of versatility and variety depending on how you arrange the blocks. Thank you for the great instructions! The half square triangles really make a lovely pattern and depending on your fabric choices and color scheme, they can look like pinwheels or flowers, or even similar to,the tumbling block, which is pretty to. It is always good to,learn the different patterns even if you don't create a huge quilt, it can be used for placemats, napkins, or a table runner! Thanks for the instructions!
