Now you can munch on a tater whenever you would like. Make this Hot Potato Pouch and you will have warm and ready potatoes in minutes. Perfect for days when you only have a few minutes or when you're at work.

Did you get it?

Microwave baked potato sacks are amazing. Cook baked potatoes in just about 5 quick minutes or warm tortillas, taco shells and bread. These are easy to sew from cotton fabric scraps, all-purpose all cotton thread and cotton batting. I have made several for gift giving. Just include simple printed how-to-microwave the potatoes if giving as gifts.

Never heard of these potato pouches before but what a great idea. This tutorial is really good and I love when there are pictures to refer to. I love sweet potatos and I make them in microwave but they take quite awhile. This is so easy and quick and I will be making one for me first and then maybe for others later. I will sure eat more potatoes. I like that you can make vegetables to in them. Come on now How many want to make some potatoes in the new pouch?

I see these pouches everywhere, at craft fairs, as patterns, as kits. But the one question I can't answer is why you need them? do they make microwaved 'baked' potatoes have a better texture (more like a 'real' oven baked one) than just putting a clean potato in the micro for 3-5 minutes (according to size and number of potatoes)?

The potatoes come out of the microwave soft and fluffy, more like made in the oven.
