Got lots of scrap pieces of fabric left from other projects and can use some new or more pot holders then here is a tutorial for you. I have made a few and they are easy and fast to make and I like that you can design your own. I tried to sew mine without the adhesive and it shifted when I sewed it and the piece was a little off but now I see this scrapbusted is sewed that way so I will finish the one I started. These will make good housewarming gifts too.

These are adorable! My Mom has been doing this for years. Recently she realized that it is a good idea to make them rectangular, and bigger! Everyone she gives them to loves them. (Usually she makes them 8 X 11, or so). She loves using scraps!!! I give her all the hems I cut off pants that I hem for my clients and she painstakingly picks out all those hems and uses 'garbage' to make something beautiful.

You should also stuff the potholders, very thick, with plenty sturdy fabric scraps.--I use old leather elbow-length bar-b-cue gloves I bought off Ebay. I don't need more oven-scars.
