This little hot pad is really charming. I imagine it would be a nice hostess gift or even a gift to go along with kitchen accessories. It seems so easy to make and has lots of style. What caught my eye was the way the hot pad was quilted, simple to do too, to represent tree bark and leaves. Love it.

This is so cute! I have done some free form sewing and while I am not that great at it, I do find it a lot of fun! This heart and initials design would be the ideal bridal shower or wedding gift for the special couple! Anything personalized is always appreciated. I have a similar potholder with a photo on fabric of the couple!

What a cute little pot holder and certainly the time of the year to use these especially if you like to put things out for the different holidays. With Valentine's Day in a few days this will be a good one and even though it is a few days away this is so easy and fast that this can be done in just a few hours and I like that this sweetheart tree can be used even after Valentine's Day. Even all year long.. I have never tried free motion sewing so I am looking forward to checking out that link. Anyone else up for this? Nice tutorial.
