I have always wanted to attempt to make an ottoman and the instructions seem to indicate that it should not be too difficult to do. Not sure how this ottoman will hold its shape. Perhaps covering a cardboard cylinder and stuffing that may be in order to make it sturdy and long lasting.

This would be a great way to upcycle thrift store furniture! Or if you have an ottoman that needs an update. Can't wait to try this!

I really like this project. I know the designer used canvas but I wonder if you could still make it with a different fabric? I'd love to try making this in a metallic color, like gold or silver, to add a pop of color to my living room.
