I LIKE IT, LOOKS CUTE & VERY USEFUL, I USE FOLDING SCISSORS. SAFER TO USE.

I agree - when the picture pop-up my first thought was how dangerous it would be to have sharp objects there. If you are in an accident, they become projectile objects. Would hate someone to die, not from the accident but from their hobby! And if you had kids in the back seat! Not a good idea at all.

I really like this caddy. My husband does most of the driving when we go on trips and this caddy puts all my supplies right at hand. (Sissors down) I use a basket on the floor of the ar which gets in my way so this works fine

I made one of these. I use it for handy access to sunglasses, cell phone, etc. I didn't think scissors and things like that were very safe. But, I like it for the purpose that I gave it. Thanx.

Sorry but I have to agree with the other 2 ladies, this is too dangerous. If you were in an accident the contents and probably the container would go sailing everywhere. When we would go on a long trip that I wanted to carry my knitting with me, I would put everything I would need in a carrying bag or box and have it at my feet.

This is a very nice pattern. HOWEVER, I don't think that you should show the scissors with the points up....very dangerous.

There is no way I would use any kind of caddy to take my crafty stuff in my car like this. It is really dangerous to have sharp blades and anything that can puncture while driving. I think common sense would tell us to keep scissors, blades, crochet and knitting tools in an enclosed compartment away from passengers.
